The ultimate guide to Jesus, including everything there is to know about his life—from birth to death and resurrection, as well as his lasting impact on the world today

Firmly setting the life and work of Jesus within the historical and geographical context of the first century, this definitive reference shines new light on how Jesus' teaching inspired the Christian faith and continues to influence the world, as well as providing further illumination into and understanding of his history. Chapters are broken down into chronological order, from his birth and the onset of his miracles—including turning water into wine, healing the sick, and multiplying a few loaves and fishes to feed 5,000—to being put on trial, crucified, buried, and his continued influence on the world and Christianity today.
